The opening reception for LA FAN's debut show at Optical Allusion Gallery on Saturday, May 15 was filled with temptations - in the form of art and fruit. Our show offered a diverse and compelling range of interpretations of the theme, Eve in the Garden of Lost Angels. We had a great turnout and everyone had a lot of fun celebrating and mingling.The gallery was a perfect venue for our overflow crowd, with a private courtyard in back where we had a DJ, bar, a spread of tasty hors d'oeuvres - and everywhere - tempting displays of crunchy red delicious apples, echoing our theme.
